Social Media Madness!

So usually I try not to take time out to get really raw because I try to stay as professional as always at all times but one thing that has enraged me is social media. It's to the point where I wish that it didn't exist. Is it a good branding option? yes but people use it to: 

1. Break people down
2. Assume something that has nothing to do with anything. 
3. Speak negatively on situations and people they don't know about 
4. Ruin someone's credibility

People have let social media go completely to their heads. It has become a hurtful and negative place. Now, anybody saying anything isn't safe from the cruel world of social media. It's annoying that people go to social media to vent about everything that should be kept private. I learned a while ago, something I don't want the world to know I won't put out. If I don't mean it, I won't say it. It's all about taking accountability for your actions and your words and when you look at things that way you have no choice but to watch yourself more closely. This rant stemmed from a celebrity issue and something recently that just made me think "Are you serious?" since when did social media become validation for anything in life? Since when did people opinions matter so much? Why do we allow ourselves to get to this point when did we allow a device to control our lives?

 I say that because what would a day consist of outside of your phone? YOU WOULD LOSE YOUR MIND. I know because I've fallen victim until I realized how much I was missing by staring at my screen all day long. I'm so afraid for us, because very little seems to value  important things in life. I understand that some things are used for advancement but why is it every single time I log into Facebook I see a fight or someone getting exposed? Why is it every time I'm on Instagram there's someone posting a meme (I have before too) making fun of someone or their situation? and twitter, everybody feels their Iyanla Fix My Life trying to put their input on something NOT pertaining to them. 

I sit back and it saddens me... all of this sh*t saddens me. I want so much for my generation but we are SO LOST. We have clearly forgot about what's important and no I'm not perfect however I'm mature, I'm learning and lastly NOT TRYING TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES AGAIN.  Apply yourself, be honest with yourself and take care of yourself. Hurt people, hurt people and it's a lot of social media bullying going on that needs to come to a end. 

I have a birthday in two weeks that I'm completely nervous for because although it's another year God granted me it's time I woman up and take care of business. I want so much for myself and my family and I'm at a point (in my mind) that time is running out and I need to start handling things. Time waits for no man and every action affects you whether then or down the road so I'm making a vow to not bash or subtweet or meme anything negative because at the end of the day it effects me. So, if I get boring OH WELL. There's always vxnbhr that you can rely on.  Anyway I'm done with my rant this is another one of those things that I just had to speak on.

I always thought that they were a odd couple anyway but the love between the two was undeniable. So it's little shocking that it's over so quickly. Especially with a child so young some how I have a feeling these two will either work it out or master this thing called co-parenting. Do I think she and Nick Cannon will go public? absolutely not. Will they mess around? I don't think I have to answer that but the laugh is the embarrassment Mariah Carey must feel knowing that her soon to be ex-husband is in the tabloids as being the cause of the split! Ouch ! This is really a mess and turned into one quickly at that. I guess we'll just have to see what will happen...not that I was really here for neither one of them. I love Muva Rosebud, she's dope but that's just not my type of tea....*sips*

Kris and Bruce Jenner Headed To Divorce Court!

There's another divorce taking place in The Kardashian franchise....

I guess 11 months of being separated was not enough for the couple. Kris Jenner filed for divorce this month via E online news. I knew eventually Bruce would get tired of Kris bossy ways because a few weeks later he followed up and filed as well. I know Bruce is all types of fed up dealing with all of the drama that follows being famous, especially in this family. I'm almost positive the camera's will be rolling throughout this divorce mess in classic Kardashian fashion. Being that both of them have made alot of money seperately and build an empire together with the Keeping Up with The Kardashian Show I know things can and more than likely will get ugly. I'm just surprised that nobody is tired of the camera's being in there face in their most intimate times I forget this family lives for all things FAMED. I wish the best for Bruce....Kris, well she'll find her way...

Okay, so lets just get to it. Moniece is very crazy which we already knew however I find it funny that Fizz is more afraid of Moniece than his girlfriend is but am I the only one who felt like Moniece was talking to herself more than his GF Amanda when she first got to the table? Trying to calm herself down from hurting that girl that was funny. Bottom line they both have a point, no mother really wants another woman trying to tell her how to be a fit mom but then again the Amanda wasn't lying. Moniece isn't really there for her son.

 

 

Nikki, baby...if you don't have several seats chile. Lol I actually like Nikki's energy she's a go getter even though it is her family's empire. She really reminds be of the boss on the old reality show Candy Girls so I will say her storyline is pretty intriguing. Anyway, this whole relationship with Mally Mal is completely beyond messy especially since he's seeing that other chick on the side and both girls are every bit of headstrong. What I'm not here for his Soulja Boy's relationship with his girlfriend Nia...one, just when I thought the boy was growing out he showed his ass and two, it's really hard to believe that Nia didn't know about that picture being that it was taken so long ago. Mona has got to come harder than that. The only one giving her a run for her money is psycho Teairra Mari, that girl has anger issues. I thought she was so amped because she loved ray, nah she likes to fight. Baby girl goes 0-100 real quick. I'm glad Hazel E finally talked her out of kinda getting Ray's name off. She ended up just putting XO in front of it, I'm not sure how that came about but whatever...it looked cheap and horrible.

 

 

Yung Berg won't be on next season, his character is just as trash as he is. The way that he disrespects Hazel E is embarrassing and the way that she just takes it is even worse. Hazel needs some help or something, especially to have dealt with that dude for such a long time. I really hope that she finds somebody next season if she makes the cut. The way that the episode ended was kinda petty, I do not enjoy these cliff hangers.  SN: If you every catch the episode of them doing commentary while watching the new episodes are so so so soooo funny. The shade is too real. 

Tatted Fo' Life ! | Hip Hop Hollywood Couple Ink It !

Love and Hip Hop Stars Omarion and Apryl Jones have decided to show it's "Real" by tattooing each others name on each other which has been a popular thing to do since Rick Ross's single Free Spirit dropped. To bad I couldn't blame my first real love's name on that single, we inked each other way before the song came out. All I can do is wish them well with that, if not covers up are the DEVIL. They hurt worse than ever LOL! In other news, the couple decided to get it over the weekend Apryl inked "Omari" Omarion's nickname while he inked "April" on the back on his neck. I'm guessing Apryl's legal name is April? I'm not sure but he inked it so....

 



Engaged!! Bow wow and Erica Mena Are Headed Down The Aisle

Word on the street is that rapper Bow wow aka Shad Moss has decided to put a ring on it to Ms.Erica Mena! Lord knows nobody saw this coming probably due to the fact that nobody really knew that they were dating but of course it's believed to be all for next seasons Love and Hip Hop New York edition. Erica Mena is a main cast member on the show and now that she and Rich Dollaz are no longer together and nobody believe her lesbian relationship with Cyn Santana was for anything more than rating I'm sure this is just another stunt in preparation for the show. Seeing some of the women that Shad has dated in the past it's really hard to think that he would even make Erica Mena his girlfriend let along get married but we shall see what will happen with this couple. If this stunt was done to help add hype for this new season I'm really excited to see what's in store. Messy Mona knows how to run a franchise !

Lordt! the social media was a frenzy this weekend as nude pics of Gabrielle Union surfaced the internet. Much like Jill Scott and Kim Kardashian just to name a few the pics were supposedly "leaked" now, I honestly don't think anybody is checking for gabby enough to go and leak some not so sexy photos of Gabby in my open. No boobs or butt is not exciting. Keep the cute face in a selfie! That's just me though, I can only imagine what is going through Wade's mind as everybody and their mama's have seen those photos of GU all around the internet. Like most, she became a victim of the "meme" culture that people have barked upon coming up with countless funny meme's for the photos. I just wish that people would stop leaking themselves or leaving their personal photos in the hands of untrusted people! Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, in the mean time you didn't miss anything trust and believe.

Okay Tasia I see you boo! Some one's rocking something new and no it's not a bag neither does it belong to someone else *sips tea* Fantasia new boo Kendall Taylor decided to make it a date night recently as Tasia shared pics on her instagram headed to a close friends wedding naming taylor as her "Ken Doll" how cute? Interestingly enough the jury is still out on how long two have been together but it's obvious that via Fantasia's instagram she's wearing a ring on THAT finger. Yes, no shade no tea it's about damn time if the two are preparing for marriage. However, they seem to enjoy eachother and at the end of the day that's the only thing that matters. Wish them the BEST!

Finally! It's been gone so long I nearly forgot about the show. To be honest I couldn't even tell you where we left off because Shonda forgot about us for so long but she's back to save the day well...my Thursdays at least will be eventful. September 25th be ready for all of the scandalous drama that is to come. I know this show creates bonding time for my mother and I because we basically live for this show. To sum it all up...

I already said that I think I will enjoy this season, is it bad that I'm already ready for the reunion show though? Anyway, I thought the first episode was pretty good, thus far everybody seems to have an interesting story line. One of the cast mates that's strikes me with a "Why are you here?"  is Morgan Lee who is Ray J's assistant outside of being that "bestfriend" who has her hand in all of her "bestfriend's" relationships. I've seen her kind before so I know what she's about, plus she knows that Ray is majority of her income so of course she's going to throw judgement where it fits her best. With that being said, it'll be interesting to see how she plays middle man to her friend's relationships. I'm sure things can only get complicated. Men...NEVER let your bestfriend had a say in your relationship or situation. Next thing you know, she's thinking about herself and yeah, I'm not going to go any farther, ya'll know the deal. 

Moving on..Am I the only one feeling like I'm back at a semi Scream Tour reunion with Omarion and Lil Fizz? My goodness, I hope some good music comes from this publicity and it's interesting that both gentlemen want to get rid of the B2K fame phase, that's interesting. I think it's time we call E for a story because I need to know why these men don't want to acknowledge what has got them to this point in their lives. However, as far as it goes with Apryl, Omarion's girlfriend and mother of his child...I'm not sure exactly how I feel about her. I don't want to speak to soon so with that being saying, she's pretty. That's all I'm going to say. Now for his mother, PETTY! I'm sick with these money hungry mothers getting on TV and just not only embarrassing themselves but their children with the foul things that they say about them or the one's that they love. I pray and hope that she won't be on a Momma Dee level by the time that this season is over. I actually want a mom to get on this show and show them how classy women act, but hell...why would Mona cast someone who's classy? SMH. Wishful thinking.

Fizz "Drew" has a unexpected story line I was actually a little surprised. To be in between a baby's mother and a loyal girlfriend is a hard place to be. What I will say though, is kudos to him for being a great dad to his son through out all of his drama as far as parenting goes with Moniece, his child's mother who seems all types of crazy. It says alot that they share joint custody of their son however, he still stays with his father majority of time since she's trying to "make a dolla" as she calls it. All I know is that she's not here for his girlfriend amanda being with Fizz or playing stepmother to their son. 

My favorite couple have to be Souljaaaa Boy and his baby girl Nia Riley, Teddy Riley's daughter. I don't really care for him because his music is petty but I ADORE his relationship and love for Nia. I also love the fact that he takes in her daughter and doesn't feel ashamed about fathering another mans child. That shows a pertha of maturity, most men have a hard time stepping in the father role for a child they didn't make let alone one that they feel should have been his anyway. I just hope these two stick together nine years is a long time to stick around. 

Lastly, Ray J I'm not here for, he's had way to many shows in the past for me to believe that he's on this show being all the way one hundred. I do believe that his story line with Teairra Mari is real, although I do feel that she turns it up a bit much for the camera however....for the one you love you'll find yourself doing the unthinkable even if it is throwing a cup on his now girlfriend Princess Love who happens to be Floyd Mayweather's ex. Now for some tea, I wasn't sure exactly who this Princess Love girl is but is seems as though she's here for the show and nothing more. My mouth dropped to the floor when it was reported at her break up with Mayweather she stole jewels and money from his mansion. OUCH! These chicks ain't loyal and it seems she likes to golddig and Ray much very well be her next come up...guess we'll just have to continue watching to find out what will happen. PS. In some weird crazy way..I secretly hope Ray and Tee get back together..I like them! 

Trigga's Got A Boo! | Or Not?

Trigga definitely has a thing for women who look similar to each other. *Sips tea*  However, that's clearly not my business. Word on the street is that Trey Songz snatched up singer/songwriter Mila J. Who also happens to be the big sister to song bird Jhene Aiko. I'm not sure if you remember Mila J's few moments of fame back in 2007 with her hit single "Good Lookin' Out"  which is still a single I'd download on my phone but she has made somewhat of a comeback with a few  single s like "Smoke, Drink, Break -up" and "My Main"  which was #33 on the music charts. Although there is nothing confirming the two being together, they definitely aren't denying it from public kisses to the instagram firting. To add more to the fire, Trey actually put her on a single for his album TRIGGA. Funny thing about this, Mila is remarkably similar looking to Trey Songz ex-fiancee Ethiopian goddess Helen Gedlu who's now engaged to NBA  star Terrence Williams since she and Trey parted ways. Say what you want, but it may seem as though Mr.Songz may have a "Type"..could just be me though. All in all, rarely ever do you see trey claiming someone publicly, this should be fun to watch.

Completely Out Of Hand | The Rice's

Being that this situation is MONTHS old and all of the ignorance surrounding it is causing a fury as much as I didn't want to bring it up, it's a must that I do. Let's start here...

1. One in every 4 women is involved in domestic abuse 

2. Most abuse cases are never reported 

NOW. I have a question, if Janay Rice thought it was okay to go ahead and marry the man that she CHOSE to be with after she was hit in the face in a elevator in Atlantic City then why are we bashing her for her decision? it's HER decision. Yes, most woman in cases are scared and the fact that he felt comfortable enough to hit her in public leaves the assumption that this may not be the first time that Ray has hit Janay. I didn't post any sad pics or eye opening videos of the two and the dispute mainly because I'm tired of seeing it and as a one woman to another, it's sad to constantly be reminded about it. Now, news reporters and everyone under the sun thinks that they have a voice in her situation simply bullying and abusing her with words. I'm not sure who's worse at this point. Just because I'm taking her side doesn't mean that he's right... no one in the situation said that he was I'm just suggesting that nobody really knows what or why and it's honestly nobody's business. It's sad to see Janay lose everything she wanted in a matter of months because of people trying to shame one's actions whether right or wrong for their own personal satisfaction. PS. Word still isn't clear on how much TMZ was paid or put out for this video. 

I can only imagine what it's like to have reporters come to your door with flowers and hurtful "Why did you stay?" messages I honestly would have the cops sitting outside for harassment. It's sad to see alot of African American athletes get pulled into mess like this. I really hope that this family seeks some help and commits to making things better for each other not only for the sake of the child but because they are high school sweethearts and their love history seems to be enough to fight for.   

Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Preview

I just wanted to say....I have seen the first episode of this season and I'm completely interested. I will say that none the less it is full of drama like Mona would like but I will say it's a more classy-ratchy unlike the other cities like ATL or NYC. I'm not really wild about the cast but it works thus far. It will be interesting to see how all the messy love triangles play out since almost all of the relationships this season are threesomes instead of two people working on their love for one another. It's more of a P-contest! From baby mamas to ex-girlfriends and family members this season will be all of cut throat. If you can't wait til Monday to watch, no worries, I gotcha! 

Quite Frankly, Blank.

When I saw this meme-post it automatically made me feel better, made me at least feel normal and that I'm not the only one in the world dealing with my pot of crap. Three things these last few weeks have taught me is.... 

1. In order to commit to someone else I must first fully commit to myself. - In other words, can't point the finger about being treated a particular way when I, myself am not valuing me enough to continue to let it happen. 
2. People are going to look out for themselves and what works for them and their situation best. - No shade, no tea but everybody ain't your friend. Not that they don't like you or plan to intentionally hurt you but everything in life to them is a hustle and gamble and they're just trying to make their next move their best move even if that is running over you. 
3. I don't know WTF I want. -.....well, that's pretty straight forward. 

I had to be honest with myself first and honestly, I was stepping into a place where I was comfortable with the unfamiliar and that's called maturity. It's amazing how admitting certain things to yourself can be such therapy.No, like really, it's crazy how easy it is just be REAL with yourself and others and how much peace it brings and drama it saves. Plus, to live and keep up with a lie is just not a healthy way to live at all. The last few weeks weren't really eye-opening because I had foreseen the events panning out the way they did anyway.. I guess I just wanted to be proved wrong  for once and nobody wanted that rewarding feeling more than me. So. Now, it was time to face the truth of it all and that it will be OK just embrace it thank God for the opportunity to not only not allow it move you but to teach you valuable lessons that hopefully won't hurt you again. Although my mind and emotions are blank I AM and WILL continue moving towards something extraordinary, I just don't know what that is yet...

NANOWRIMO| Get Out Your Pens!

As if it were a secret, I have a passion for writing. Like a HUGE passion for writing and like any other writer I'm always trying to WRITE or take part in as many writing exercises as possible to get better and more creative SO the infamous Bull pin has turned me on to a fun writing exercise! Not sure if you know but November is National Novel Writing Month (NANO) so there's this website called NaNoWriMO that you can log onto and actually write a short story to post onto the website for everyone and their mama's to see, which actually is kinda cool if you ask me. Nothing like free advertisement and I'm a critique freak I constantly want to know what I'm doing wrong and what I could be doing to be better. Last year there were 641,560 novelist who entered the contest. Of course the goal is to finish your novel by the end of the month and if you use their tools it's actually not something unbelievably achievable you learn it's actually pretty easy . NanoWriMO has pep talks and support as well as tracking your progress as you go along which is helpful. The website is completely free and I posted the link above for you to create a account and get writing! The experience is really fun especially if you have friends who enjoy the same interest who join in. This activity is something the bull pin and I thoroughly enjoy and I have a feeling if your passionate you'll enjoy it too. Once I start writing I'll also post it on here  as well or pieces to share with you all. Also feel free to follow my story along with the bullpin on the actual website itself. I was just telling someone the other day Keke Palmer has been giving me major life lately! After wrapping up her test run of Just Keke with through the rough ratings! recently being announced as the first black Cinderella to be on Broadway, OH! and turning 21 I think it's safe to say this hot mama is doing her thing and in high demand! It amazing to see Keke Palmer be so successful these days and actually taking a initiative to be a positive role model for youth which is not only a hard task to take-on but also a hard task to keep up. With social media these days  and crazy paps it's almost unheard of to stay off a magazine cover for something negative but I must say, this Queen has been doing a remarkable job. Hopefully she keeps up the good work and continues slaying us with these beautiful brown skin selfies !
